Children and adolescents experience a range of unique challenges including (but not limited to) anxiety, depression, attention deficit, and social stresses.
In addition to serving the community as a counselor, I am also a high school social studies teacher, athletic coach, and father of three, which gives me additional insight into the unique challenges children and adolescents face.
Through reflection and introspection, I help clients develop self-awareness and coping strategies as well as facilitate personal growth all aimed at achieving a more balanced and happy life.
When working on mental health, it is important to include the role of proper nutrition and exercise in promoting a healthy lifestyle. Everyone is able to facilitate this healthy change through developing healthy life habits, and this can make a huge difference in someone's life.
